Beveled Text

Go File > New or on your keyboard hold Ctrl + N.

A window should appear, set the settings like mine and press OK.

Now find your tool bar its should look something like the image below, if you can’t find it then go Windows > Tools and click the one circled in red or on your keyboard press the letter T.

Click/ Drag the cursor on your layer and type in your text, pick your colour, pick a font that is thick and wide I’m using the font akaDylan Plain which can be downloaded at dafont.com also make the text size so it takes up the layer, so you can see better results.
Now click the following: Layer > Layer Style > Bevel and Emboss.

A window should pop up looking like this:

But those aren’t the settings we want, copy my settings below:

Press OK and your results should look something like mine:

Save your work.
