Dreamy Effect

In this tutorial I’m gonna teach you how to make a dreamy effect. Open you image. I’ll be using this image as an example.

Duplicate the image by holding Ctrl + J or Layer > Duplicate Layer.

Then go Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur.

It should come up with a pop up window and should look similar to this:

Set the settings like mine if your using my example but different images are set differently, so experiment. Press OK If it looks something like the image below then your on the right track.

Now the last step change your Blend Mode to Overlay by going Layer > Layer Style > Blend Option or you can just follow the screenshot:

Your results should look something like this:

Save your work.
